Fitness Nutritious was born out of the idea that together we can make a positive difference to the health, safety and wellbeing of others, by addressing nutrition, stress relief and fitness.  As the Director of Fitness Nutritious I take my obligation to assist in all areas of corporate wellness and personal wellness very seriously, while definately having fun.

Nutrition, fitness and wellbeing is what I love to help people with and have absolutely, thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the industry for over 30 years now.  The companies I have worked for within this industry are: YMCA, Portland Aluminium (Australia), Event Promotions, Surf Life Saving Bay of Plenty and Bay of Plenty Polytechnic plus a number of gyms. 

I have a Diploma in Sport and Recreation and achieved 3rd year degree papers for Food, Nutrition and Community Health, as well as Athlete Conditioning.  I’ve helped 1000’s of people from individuals, groups and top class athletes and sports people to improve their health, fitness and high-performance. 

I’ve been involved with fitness testing the NZ 7’s team and the under 16’s and 18’s NZ league teams, right through to organising and instructing fitness programmes, such as walking groups, tramping groups, circuit, spin, pump classes, law enforcement fitness and sports specific circuits.

Some of programmes I’ve implemented are corporate nutrition, recreation, fitness and health programmes, including round robin competitions for indoor sports teams. 

My skills are comprehensive across all aspects of corporate wellbeing, nutritional advice, and fitness including exercise prescription, testing, needs analysis and the maintenance of personal fitness and well-being programme and planning. We have created a team here at Fitness Nutritious who share my passion for health and fitness.

We provide opportunities for workers to be actively involved in their own self management around health, believing this creates longer-term healthier habits.  We know this doesn’t only improve their health, it lowers the risk of accidents and injuries.  We’re here to help you minimise the personal, social and economic costs of injuries.

We know it’s important to be flexible so we come to you, wherever you are.  We develop programmes that fit into your work schedule and your budget.

We know businesses will have greater responsibility and compliance with the health and safety obligations under the new Workplace Health and Safety Act that was brought in, in April 2016.
